SHAOKAO & RAMEN

For our latest pre-opening collab we're teaming up with the best ramen joint in Bristol, Tomo No Ramen. For a limited edition 2 week pop-up we'll be exploring the relationship between Chinese and Japanese cusine through FIRE and NOODLES, or more specifically Shaokao and Ramen. Tomo No Ramen will be upping their game with a set of 3 premium bowls of ramen, each with Chinese influence, and Wangs will be focused on Chinese BBQ cooked over charcoal. All happening in our converted fruit and veg store in Montpelier. Draught beer and our signature cocktails at the ready. See you soonX

Expect 4 tasty sharing plates to give you all the happiness, good luck, harmony & opportunity for the year ahead.... followed by a hot bowl of delicious bouncy soup noodles for that looong healthy life, and an ondeh ondeh mochi representing family unity to finish.

Our first 'get it while its hot' walk-ins only event partnering with Ben Brooker and Patrick Smith. Bao freshly made at Wangs with 4 epic fillings;

- Cantonese Pork Belly braised in Iford cider with honey and blackberry hoisin sauce.

- Xinjiang Lamb slow roasted and topped with spring onion and ginger sauce.

- Taiwanese Tofu fried nice and crispy with chilli ketchup

- Chengdu Hot Mushroom with Sichuan chilli oil and spring onions

VEGAN TAKEOVER

Following our last pop-up at 'The Scrandit' on the Christmas steps we had a lot of requests for more vegan options. So on the 27th Oct we're collaborating with Bristol's 'Another Plant Based Boy', and 'Big Bristol Vegan' to showcase some of our latest vegan dumpling and hot soup noodle dishes.

The Scrandit Pop-Up

Our debut pop-up at the iconic Scrandit on the Christmas Steps! We'll be cooking up our favourite small plates and Shaokao skewers based on food culture from across China, from the north-west Xinjiang Province, down to Hong Kong, across to Taiwan with many spots inbetween. Expect chilli wontons, donggu dumplings, glass noodle scallops, our house pickles, chilli cumin lamb skewers and more!
